Export your data to a spreadsheet
Download what you see on Visibility, Prompts, Topics, Competitors, Citations, AI traffic and the Action Center as a CSV file.
Export a page
Most pages have an Export CSV button at the top right. It downloads what the page shows with your current filters, as a CSV file that Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets open.
Open the page in the sidebar, for example Visibility.
Set the date range and filters you want, such as 30d or one Topic.
Select Export CSV. The file downloads straight away, named like
legitgeo_<business>_insights_<date>.csv.Visibility (1), the date range set to 30d (2) and Export CSV (3). The page’s title reads Answer Engine Insights. Captured October 23, 2026, from the demo business Harborline Plumbing.
To open the file in Google Sheets, choose File, then Import, then upload it.
What each export contains
Visibility: every answer in the period, one row each, with the question, topic, assistant, region, mentions, citations, visibility score, sentiment, cited links and competitors named. Large exports stop at 50,000 rows and say so in the file.
Prompts: your questions with their topic, assistants, regions, whether they are active, and visibility for the selected period. The file also has a search volume column, which stays empty until search-volume estimates are switched on. The button is greyed out until you add questions.
Topics: each topic with its numbers. Greyed out until you have topics.
Competitors: from Tracked Competitors, every competitor; next to a head-to-head comparison, just that one. Open Competitors from Head-to-Head Comparison on Visibility.
Citations: the tab you are on, Domains, URLs or Competitor Gaps, for the Date Range you set. Domains and URLs include only the websites your Top Sources choice shows. Source Types is a chart and cannot be exported.
AI Traffic Analytics: visits from AI assistants to your site. Greyed out when there are no visits yet.
Shopping (Growth plan): the questions that can show product cards, from several tabs.
Action Center: on Signals and Actions, the rows you see with your filters.
Content and Lead Chatbot: your content opportunities, and the leads on the Leads tab.
Citations opens on the last day (24h) and on Brand, which shows only your own website. Change both before you export, or the file holds just that.
On Citations, under Date Range, choose a period, for example 30d.
30d (1), All under Top Sources (2), the Domains tab (3) and Export CSV (4). Captured October 23, 2026, from the demo business Harborline Plumbing. Under Top Sources, choose All to include every website, or Brand, Competitors or Third-Party for just those.
Select the tab you want: Domains, URLs or Competitor Gaps.
Select Export CSV at the top of the page.
Frequently asked questions
Why is Export CSV greyed out?
There is nothing to export yet for that page and period. Try a longer date range, or wait for the morning after your first nightly check.
Can I get my data automatically instead of downloading it?
Yes. A webhook sends alerts and leads to your own tools, and an AI tool connected with an API key can read your data. See Send LegitGeo alerts to Zapier, Make or n8n and Connect Claude, Cursor or another AI tool to LegitGeo.
