Choose who gets your Daily Pulse and monthly report emails

Set how often each business’s Daily Pulse email is sent and who gets it; the same people get the monthly report on the 1st, and Off stops both.

What the Daily Pulse is

The Daily Pulse is a short email for each business you track. It arrives after the nightly check, when LegitGeo has asked the AI assistants your questions again, and tells you what changed.

Every plan includes it (Local, Growth and Agency) while your subscription is active or in its free trial. Until someone changes it, each business’s Pulse goes out daily to everyone in your organization.

Read the Daily Pulse

The subject line starts with your business name and “Daily Pulse”, followed by your visibility score (how often and how prominently AI names you, out of 100) and its change this week.

  1. Look at the numbers at the top: Visibility (your visibility score), the 7-day trend, mentions, citations (links to your website in AI answers), positive sentiment and Prompts you appear in (how many of your questions you show up in; LegitGeo calls these questions prompts). A small green or red arrow under a number shows how it moved.

The numbers (1), Highlights (2) and Open Insights (3). Sample email for the demo business Harborline Plumbing, rendered October 23, 2026.
A Daily Pulse email for Harborline Plumbing with six number boxes, a Highlights list and an Open Insights button.
  2. Read Highlights for good news, such as a page of yours cited for the first time, a question gaining points, passing a competitor or appearing on an assistant for the first time. Needs attention lists warnings, such as a sharp drop, or a competitor surging or passing you.

  3. Select Open Insights to see the full numbers in LegitGeo.

Note

If an assistant had trouble on the night, a grey note says data collection was degraded and drop warnings are paused, so a low number that day may not be real.

Change how often it is sent

Each business has its own box on the Notifications page. Admins and managers can change it; analysts see the settings greyed out. The Manage notification settings link at the bottom of each Daily Pulse email opens this page too.

  1. Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open Settings.

  2. Select Notifications.

  3. In the box with your business name, open the menu on the right. It shows your setting in short form, such as daily or notable.

  4. Choose Daily, Weekly, Only when notable or Off.

The frequency menu open with four choices: Daily, Weekly, Only when notable and Off.
  5. Select Save changes in that box. You see Notification settings saved.

Daily sends after each nightly check. The check starts at 02:00 UTC, which is 7 pm Pacific and 10 pm Eastern (an hour earlier from early November to mid-March). The email waits until the answers are in, so it usually arrives within a few hours.

Weekly is sent after the Sunday night check (US time) and covers the last 7 days.

Only when notable sends only on days with at least one highlight or warning.

Off stops the Daily Pulse, the monthly report email and SEO alert emails for that business.

Important

There is no separate switch for the monthly report. To keep it but get fewer emails, choose Weekly or Only when notable instead of Off.

Choose who receives it

  1. In Recipients, type the email addresses, separated by commas, for example alex@example.com, sam@example.com.

Recipients (1) and Save changes (2). Captured October 23, 2026, from the demo business Harborline Plumbing.
The Harborline Plumbing box with the empty Recipients field and the Save changes button.
  2. Select Save changes.

Leave Recipients empty to send to everyone in your organization. People on the list do not need a LegitGeo login, so you can add an office manager or a business partner. Up to 50 addresses are kept.

If an address is not valid, the box says Not a valid email address and names it. Fix or remove it, then save again.

The monthly report email

On the 1st of each month (UTC), LegitGeo emails last month’s report for each business to the same recipients as its Daily Pulse. The subject reads, for example, “Harborline Plumbing: your September visibility report”.

  1. Read Where you stand: how often AI assistants named or linked you, with each assistant’s share, plus your website readiness and search health.

Where you stand (1), Customers and crawlers (2), Do this next (3) and Open your Overview (4). Sample email for the demo business, rendered October 23, 2026.
A monthly report email for September 2026 with the sections Where you stand, Customers and crawlers and Do this next, and an Open your Overview button.
  2. Read Customers and crawlers: leads from your website chatbot and visits from AI crawlers that month.

  3. Read Do this next: your most important fixes, in order.

  4. Select Open your Overview to continue in LegitGeo.

A month with nothing measured is not emailed. If the email could not go out on the 1st, LegitGeo tries again until the 7th. The Manage emails link at the bottom of the email opens Notifications.

This email is separate from the reports you create yourself. See Create a report and download it as a PDF.

When no Pulse arrives

LegitGeo sends at most one Pulse per business per day, and only when the nightly check brought fresh answers. It is not sent after a check you start yourself.

The same warning is not repeated within 7 days, and paused businesses get no Pulse. If you still see nothing, check your spam folder and read I didn’t get the confirmation, reset or invitation email.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get the Pulse for one business and not another?

Yes. Each business has its own box on Notifications, with its own frequency and recipients.

Does turning the Pulse off stop the alerts inside LegitGeo?

No. Signals in the Action Center still appear after each nightly check. See See what changed in your AI answers.

Does the frequency also apply to my webhook?

Yes. The Pulse webhook follows the same setting, and it is sent even when nobody gets the email. See Send LegitGeo alerts to Zapier, Make or n8n.
