Offer LegitGeo inside your platform

How the partner program lets a marketplace or software platform show its businesses their AI visibility, how to request a walkthrough, and how developers get the partner API reference, which LegitGeo shares on request.

What the partner program does

The partner program, called Powered by LegitGeo, lets a marketplace, a software platform or an agency switch on AI visibility for the businesses it serves. Inside your product, each business can see which AI assistants name it, how ready its website is for them, and its top fixes.

For each business, LegitGeo tracks ten local questions, such as “Who is the best plumber in Irvine?”, on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Gemini, and checks its website or its page on your platform.

Test companies use sample AI results. For live companies, the weekly AI check runs once LegitGeo switches it on for your platform. Until then, the card shows No result yet under Named by, the console shows Pending for AI assistants, and changes you report can’t be measured. The storefront check runs straight away.

You choose how to show it: the Visibility card, a box you add to your pages with one script tag; a hosted report opened from a single-use link; or your own screens built on the partner API and webhooks.

It is not a plan you buy in the app. LegitGeo sets up your organization as a partner and quotes a price per active business per month. Test mode, for building and trying it out, is never billed. It is not white-label: the card says Powered by LegitGeo, and you can set its color, corners and typeface.

Note

If you run a single business, you don’t need the partner program. See Compare plans.

Request a walkthrough

There is no booking calendar. You email the team, and they reply to arrange a time. The partner program page has the same steps.

  1. Email hello@legitgeo.com. Say what your platform does, roughly how many businesses you serve, and whether you want the card, the report or your own build.

On the partner program page, Email the team (1) opens an email to hello@legitgeo.com. Screen from October 23, 2026.
The Request a walkthrough section of the partner program page, with the Email the team button.
  2. The team replies by email with answers to your first questions and times for a walkthrough.

  3. In the walkthrough, the team goes through the card, the hosted report, the API and webhooks, and how they would fit your product.

  4. If it is a fit, LegitGeo quotes a price for your platform and reviews partner access. Once your organization is set up, you start in test mode with test keys and sample data.

Get the partner API reference

The partner API reference, with every request, field and webhook event, is shared with partners on request. Ask for it in your walkthrough email or at hello@legitgeo.com.

Your developers use it to create an account for each business, open sessions for the card, create single-use links to the hosted report, report changes you make for a business, and receive signed webhooks. Every call is made from your server with a secret key.

What your team sees once you are a partner

A Partners item appears near the bottom of the sidebar for your organization, and it opens the partner console. Before your organization is set up, there is no Partners item, and the console address shows “This organisation is not set up as a LegitGeo partner.”

  1. Select Partners in the sidebar to open the console. See Find your way around the partner console.

Partners in the sidebar (1). The console opens on Test data (2), with four tiles (3) above your companies. A demo partner. Screen from October 23, 2026.
The partner console of a demo partner, Harborline Marketplace, with an arrow pointing at Partners in the sidebar, the Test data and Live switch outlined at the top right and the four tiles outlined.

Later, you can find out whether the changes you make for a business worked. LegitGeo compares that business’s AI answers before and after the change with your other businesses that changed nothing in the same weeks, so a change that happened to everyone is not counted as yours. This is called verified lift. See Report a change and see whether it worked.

Frequently asked questions

Can an agency use the partner program?

Yes. An agency is a partner like any other platform. It creates one account per client business and shows results through the card, the hosted report or its own reporting.

Will AI assistants recommend our businesses?

LegitGeo does not promise that. It measures what the assistants said for the tracked questions and shows what on each website can be improved.

How are partners billed?

Per active business per month, at the price quoted for your platform. A business counts as active in a month when a check ran for it or someone opened its card or report. Test accounts are never billed.
