Add another business, location or client
Local tracks 1 business, Growth up to 3 and Agency up to 10, each with its own questions and competitors, all sharing your plan’s question limit.
How many businesses each plan includes
LegitGeo calls each business a brand. Each one has its own questions, topics, competitors, results, fix list and Daily Pulse email, so a second location or a client never mixes with the first.
Local ($99 a month) includes 1 business and 25 questions. Growth ($299) includes up to 3 businesses and 100 questions. Agency ($499) includes up to 10 businesses and 250 questions. Adding a business does not change your price.
The question limit is for your whole account, not for each business. On Growth, for example, three businesses with 40, 40 and 20 questions use all 100. Each question counts once for every location it is asked from; most questions use one.
Add a location as its own business when it serves a different city or has its own website. Its questions, competitors and state can then match the place it serves.
Paused businesses still count toward both limits. To make room, delete a business or some questions. See Pause or delete a business.
Add a business
You need to be an admin or a manager. Setup has five short screens and takes about five minutes.
In the sidebar, select Brands.
At the top right, select Add Brand.
Brands in the sidebar (1) and Add Brand (2). Screen from October 23, 2026. On Add a new brand, type the name of the business, location or client in Brand name.
In Website, type its address. The
https://is already there, so start with the domain, for exampletustin.yourbusiness.com.If you like, add a sentence about the business under Describe your brand (optional). It helps LegitGeo suggest better topics. Then select Continue.
Brand name (3), Website (4) and Continue (5). Screen from October 23, 2026. On Select your target market, choose the Region, the State (optional) and the Language. For a business in one US state, pick the state so AI answers are asked as if from there. Leave Nationwide (no state) for a business that serves the whole country.
Select Continue. The business is created at this point, and setup moves on to topics.
State (optional) set to California for a Tustin location (6), then Continue (7). Screen from October 23, 2026.
If you leave setup after step 7, the business stays on your Brands page with no questions and counts toward your business limit. Open it from Brands to add questions, or delete it. Going Back to change the name or website updates the same business; it does not create a second one.
Choose topics, questions and competitors
Setup then suggests topics, questions and competitors for the new business. Each list takes a few seconds to appear.
On Choose topics to monitor, keep the topics you want ticked and untick the rest. To add your own, type a service or customer need under Add your own topic, such as
water heater repair, and select Add topic. You can choose up to 10. Then select Looks good.On Choose questions to monitor, check the questions under each topic. LegitGeo suggests up to 5 per topic. Remove any you don’t want with the cross beside it, or open a topic, type your own question and select Add. A question needs at least 10 characters. Then select Continue.
On Add your competitors, type a Company name and its web address (
domain.com) and select the plus button, or tick the suggested competitors you want to follow. Then select Start tracking with 2 competitors (the number matches your ticks), or Skip & start tracking.
You see “Brand setup complete! Tracking is starting.” and Visibility opens for the new business. Its first check usually starts at once, and answers arrive over the next few minutes to about two hours. If that first check can’t start, the business is checked in the next nightly run instead. After that, LegitGeo asks the AI assistants its questions every night.
If the new questions would take your account past its question limit, the questions screen says how many to remove, for example “Your plan includes up to 20 questions for this brand. Remove 5 to continue.”, and Continue stays greyed out until you do.
Competitors are optional here. You can add or change them later in the business’s Settings, on the Competitors tab.
If your plan is full
When you already have as many businesses as your plan includes, the Add Brand button shows a crown. Only an admin can change the plan, so if you are a manager, ask an admin on your team.
On Brands, select Add Brand. Billing opens in Settings.
Choose a plan with more businesses. See Upgrade or downgrade your plan.
Once the upgrade goes through, Add Brand opens setup again. If you see “Your plan includes 1 brand. Upgrade your plan to add more.”, the account is already at its limit, for example because a teammate added a business at the same time.
On Agency, 10 businesses is the most a plan includes. For more, contact LegitGeo, or see the partner program in Offer LegitGeo inside your platform.
