Change your name, organization name or dark mode
Edit the name your teammates see, rename your organization, and switch the dashboard between light and dark.
Change your name
Your display name is what your teammates see on the Team list. It also shows at the bottom of the sidebar.
Select your name at the bottom of the left sidebar. Settings opens on the Account tab.
Your name (1), Display Name (2) and Save changes (3). Email below it can’t be edited. Demo account, October 23, 2026. In Display Name, type the name you want.
Select Save changes. You see “Changes saved!”.
If the sidebar still shows your old name, reload the page. Save changes stays greyed out while the name is empty.
You can’t change your sign-in Email here. Email hello@legitgeo.com from your current address to change it. To change your password, see Sign in, sign out or reset your password.
Rename your organization
Your organization holds your businesses, your team and your subscription. It starts with the business name you typed during setup, and invited teammates see it on the page that asks them to join. Only admins can rename it.
Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open Settings.
Select Organization.
The Organization tab (2), Organization Name (3) and Save changes (4), which turns on once you change the name. Demo account, October 23, 2026. In Organization Name, type the new name, up to 100 characters.
Select Save changes. You see “Changes saved!”.
Slug is a short ID LegitGeo uses behind the scenes. You can ignore it. Plan and Members are for information; on Local, Plan shows the plan’s older name, Starter.
If you are not an admin, the name is greyed out and the tab says “Only admins can rename the organization.”
Switch to dark mode
Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar to open Settings.
Select Theme.
The Theme tab (2) and Dark (3). Light is the default. Demo account, October 23, 2026. Select Dark, or Light to go back. The dashboard changes straight away; there is nothing to save.
Your choice is saved in this browser only. Other computers, phones and your teammates keep their own setting, and the dashboard does not follow your device’s own dark mode.
