Invite teammates to your account
Admins invite people by email, with no limit on team size on any plan, can resend or cancel an invitation, and invited people join from the link.
Your organization is your LegitGeo account: it holds your businesses, your team and your subscription. Give everyone who works on it their own login: office staff, a business partner or your marketing agency. Everyone joins the same organization and sees the same businesses, and each person’s role decides what they can change.
Local ($99), Growth ($299) and Agency ($499) all include unlimited team members, so adding people never changes your price.
Only an admin can invite people. If you don’t see Invite member, ask an admin on your team. Team roles explains what each role can do.
Invite a teammate
Select your name at the bottom of the left sidebar to open Settings.
Select Team.
Your name (1) opens Settings. Select Team (2), then Invite member (3). Demo account, October 23, 2026. Select Invite member.
In Email, enter your teammate’s email address.
Email (4), Role (5) and Send invitation (6). Demo account, October 23, 2026. In Role, choose what they can do. New invitations are Analyst, which can view everything and change nothing, unless you pick another role.
Select Send invitation.
The dialog then says “Invitation sent. You can also share this link directly:” with the link and a copy button. Select Done. Your teammate gets an email with a link to join, and appears under Pending invitations with the date the invitation expires, 7 days from now.
If the address already has a LegitGeo login, no email reaches them, even though the dialog says “Invitation sent.” If the dialog says no email was sent, the email could not go out. Either way, select the copy button next to the link, send the link to your teammate yourself, then select Done.
Resend or cancel an invitation
Invitations nobody has accepted yet are listed under Pending invitations, below your team.
In Settings, select Team.
Under Pending invitations, select the three-dot button next to the invitation.
The three-dot button (2) opens Resend invite and Revoke (3). Demo account, October 23, 2026. Select Resend invite to send it again, or Revoke to cancel it.
Resend invite copies the invitation link to your clipboard, sends the email again to an address that has no login yet, and gives the invitation another 7 days. You see “Invitation resent (link copied)”.
Revoke cancels it straight away. You see “Invitation revoked”, and anyone who opens the link sees “Invitation revoked” too.
An invitation that has run out shows Expired instead of a date. Resend it to give it another 7 days.
If the invitation doesn’t go through
“A pending invitation already exists for this email”: that person already has an invitation. Resend it instead.
“This user is already a member of your team”: they can already sign in and see your businesses.
“Invalid email address”: check the address for typos.
A login belongs to one LegitGeo organization at a time. When someone accepts your invitation, they leave any other organization they were in.
Join a team you were invited to
If someone invited you, open the link in the invitation email, or the link they sent you themselves. The steps differ a little for each, so follow the part below that matches your link.
If you already pay for your own LegitGeo plan, cancel it under Settings > Billing before you accept. Once you join, you can no longer open your old organization or its billing. See Cancel your subscription.
From the invitation email
Select the link in the invitation email. The page Join followed by the organization’s name opens.
Check that the role and the Invited email are right.
Enter your Full name, then a password of at least 8 characters in Set a password and again in Confirm password.
Select Accept and join followed by the organization’s name. You see a welcome message and the dashboard opens. There is no setup and no plan to choose.
The password you set here is the one you use from now on, even if your login had a different password before.
From a link your admin sent you
If you are signed out, the link opens Sign up with your email address filled in.
In Full name, enter your name.
In Password, enter a password of at least 8 characters.
Select Create account. The Sign in page opens.
Open the confirmation email we send you and select its link.
After you confirm, sign in on the Sign in page that is still open, or open the invitation link again. The Join page opens: follow steps 2 to 4 under From the invitation email.
If you already have a LegitGeo login, don’t sign up again. Sign in first, then open the invitation link again. A link opened while you are signed out always starts at Sign up.
If setup opens, don’t set up a business: open the invitation link instead.
If the invitation page says something is wrong
If you are signed in with a different address from the one the invitation was sent to, a red note says the invitation was sent to another address.
Select Sign out and use correct account. You are signed out and taken to Sign up for the invited address.

“Invitation expired”: ask your admin to resend it. “Invitation revoked”: the admin cancelled it. “Invitation already used”: it has been accepted, so sign in instead. “Invitation not found”: the link is incomplete, so copy the whole link and try again.

Does adding teammates cost more?
No. Local, Growth and Agency all include unlimited team members.
How long does an invitation last?
7 days. Resend invite gives it another 7 days.
My teammate didn’t get the email. What now?
Resend the invitation, which also copies the link, and send them the link yourself. See I didn’t get the confirmation, reset or invitation email.
