Why Visibility shows no data or old numbers, from a check that is still running to a paused business or an inactive subscription, and when new results will appear.

Updated

When new results appear

LegitGeo asks the AI assistants every question you track once a day. The daily run starts at 2:00 UTC, which is 7 pm Pacific and 10 pm Eastern in summer, or 6 pm and 9 pm in winter. Answers come back over the next few minutes to about two hours, depending on how busy the assistants are.

A new account does not wait for that run: your first business is checked straight after checkout, so its first answers usually arrive within a couple of hours.

While a run is going, Visibility keeps showing the last finished run, with a blue bar that says Daily tracking in progress (or Tracking in progress for a check someone started). When the run finishes, the numbers switch to the new ones in one step.

There is no button that asks all your questions again on demand. Run a full check on Overview checks your website (it opens Diagnosis); it does not ask your questions again. New questions are the exception: they can be checked as soon as you add them, within a daily allowance.

Check when the last run finished

  1. Select Visibility in the sidebar. The page is headed Answer Engine Insights.

  2. Under the title, read Last run. It says how long ago the latest answers arrived, for example 1d ago.

Visibility in the sidebar (1), Last run under the title (2) and the 24h range the page opens on (3). Harborline Plumbing is a made-up business; screen captured October 23, 2026.
The Visibility page with Visibility selected in the sidebar, the line "Last run: 4h ago" under the title, and the 24h date range selected.
  3. Check Date Range. The page opens on 24h, which shows the latest finished daily run, even when that run is more than a day old.

If Last run says a day or less, tracking is working and the next run is on its way. If it says several days, tracking has stopped: work through the checks below.

If tracking has stopped

The most common reason is a paused business. Check that first.

  1. Select Brands in the sidebar, then Settings on the business. (LegitGeo calls each business a brand. A paused one shows Paused on its card.)

  2. On the General tab (not the Tracking tab), scroll down to the Tracking card.

Brands (1), the Tracking card (2) and its button (3). A business that is being tracked shows Pause tracking; a paused one shows Paused and Resume tracking. Harborline Plumbing is a made-up business; screen captured October 23, 2026.
Brand settings, General tab, scrolled down to the Tracking card with its Pause tracking button.
  3. If it says Paused, select Resume tracking. Tracking picks up again at the next daily run. Only admins can pause or resume a business.

Subscription ended or a payment failed: nothing is tracked until an admin renews, and the dashboard closes for the whole team, so you see it as soon as you sign in. See I see Subscription required or my payment failed.

No active questions: a business with no active questions is not checked. Add a question, or resume a paused one, on Prompts. See Add, edit or pause the questions you track.

More than your plan allows: if your organization has more businesses or question locations than the plan covers, for example after you restart on a smaller plan, LegitGeo keeps checking the oldest ones and skips the rest. See I reached a limit on my plan.

If the page says there are no results

Each date range and filter shows only the answers that match it. When nothing matches, the page says so, for example No results for the last 7 days, and Last run shows Never for that range, even though older answers exist.

  1. Select Show all data. The filters go back to the starting view: the latest run, every topic, every region and every assistant.

A range with no answers: Last run reads Never, and Show all data (1) brings the answers back. Harborline Plumbing is a made-up business; screen captured October 23, 2026.
The Visibility page for a custom date range with no answers: "No results for the selected period", Last run: Never, and the Show all data button.
  2. To see older answers, select 30d, 90d or All under Date Range.

If the page says No tracking data yet, no answer has arrived for this business at all. On a new account, give the first run up to about two hours after checkout. If it still says this the next day, check the list above.

If a new question has no answers yet

When you add a question with Add prompt on Prompts, LegitGeo checks it straight away if your allowance for the day allows it, and the message says the prompt was added and is being analyzed now. If the allowance is used up, the message says it will be picked up by the next tracking run, and it is checked in the next daily run. How many of these checks you get depends on your plan: see Checking new questions straight away.

After Add prompt, that message is the only sign: no progress bar appears on Visibility. Answers to the new question appear on that question’s own page as soon as they arrive. The 7-, 30- and 90-day views on Visibility include them after the next daily run (about 7 pm Pacific).

If you select Analyze Prompts on a business’s Prompts page (open it with Manage prompts on Prompts), then Analyze, Visibility opens with a blue Analyzing prompts... bar and a Stop button. It can take a few minutes, or one to two hours at busy times, and keeps going if you leave the page. Stop appears only in the browser that started the check.

Changing a business’s state, or adding an assistant or a place to a question, takes effect from the next daily run.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make LegitGeo ask all my questions again right now?

No. Every question is asked once a day, in the daily run. Only new questions are checked straight away, within your daily allowance.

Can I change how often my questions are checked?

No. Every plan checks every active question once a day.

Why do the numbers change in the evening?

The daily run starts at about 7 pm Pacific (6 pm in winter). Until it finishes, Visibility keeps the last finished run on screen, so you never see half a run. Then the numbers switch to the new answers in one step.
