See how often AI assistants name your business
Visibility, the page headed Answer Engine Insights, turns every tracked answer into one score out of 100 that you can filter by date, place, assistant and topic.
Open your visibility score
Every night LegitGeo asks the AI assistants on your plan each question you track and reads their answers. Visibility adds those answers up into one score.
In the sidebar, under Analytics, select Visibility. The page is headed Answer Engine Insights, and the line under the title says when the last check ran, for example “Last run: 1d ago”.
Under Date Range, select 30d. The page opens on 24h, which usually holds only the latest nightly check, so a longer range gives a steadier picture.
Read the first card, Visibility. The big number is your score out of 100. The line under it, such as “appeared in 20/20 prompts (100%)”, says how many of your questions named you or linked to your website at least once.

What the score means
To read the definitions in the app, select Formulas at the top right.
Read How metrics are calculated. It explains the score and every other number on the page. You can also hover the small question mark on any card.
The formula behind the score (2). Made-up demo business, captured October 23, 2026.
The score counts every answer that matches your filters, including the ones that leave you out. It is built from three things. How often answers name you makes up 60% of it. How often they link to your website makes up 25%. How early they name you makes up the last 15%: named first counts in full, second counts half, third a third, and so on.
Your competitors are scored the same way on the same answers, so your number and theirs can be compared directly.
The other cards
Tracked Prompts counts the questions that got answers in the period. The line under it, for example “20 / 100 prompt locations”, is how much of your plan’s question allowance you use, and an Upgrade link appears once you reach 90%. Select the card to open Prompts.
Mentions counts how many times answers named your business. Citations counts how many times they linked to your website; select it to open Citations. Both show the change from the period before.
Positive Sentiment is the share of answers naming you that describe you well. It sits next to the score but is not part of it.
Filter by date, place, assistant or topic
The filters sit under the title and apply to every card and chart on the page.
Under Date Range, select 24h, 7d, 30d, 90d or All. To pick exact days, select Custom, then set From and To.
To see one service, choose it in Topic. This menu only appears once you have topics.
To see one place, choose it in Region. All Regions shows every place your questions are asked from.
To see one assistant, choose it in AI Model. All Platforms shows them all.
Date Range (1), Topic (2), Region (3) and AI Model (4). Made-up demo business, captured October 23, 2026.
While the numbers reload, the cards dim and a spinner shows; the new numbers replace them a moment later. The filters are kept in the page address, so you can bookmark a view or send the link to a teammate.
If nothing was checked in the period you picked, the page says so, for example “No results for the last 24 hours”. Choose a longer range, such as 30d or All.
When the numbers change
The numbers change once a day. The nightly check starts at 02:00 UTC, which is 7 pm Pacific time in summer and 6 pm in winter, and answers come in over the next two hours or so. While a check is running, a blue banner says “Daily tracking in progress” and the page keeps showing the last finished results until the new ones are all in.
Local ($99 a month) and Agency ($499) ask ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Perplexity and Google Gemini. Growth ($299) also asks Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot. See Compare plans.
Further down the page, the trend chart, Leaderboard and share of voice compare you with your competitors; see Compare yourself with your competitors. At the bottom, Recommendations lists topic and question ideas from your saved analyses; they do not follow the date filters.
There is no button to re-run all your questions on demand. A new question is checked when you add it; everything else updates after the next nightly check.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my score different on the Overview page?
The AI answers row on Overview always covers the last 30 days. Visibility covers the range you pick and opens on the last 24 hours. Set Date Range to 30d to compare. See Why the numbers differ between pages.
Why is my score low when ChatGPT named me?
The score counts every answer from every assistant for every question in the period. Being named in a few of them keeps it low. Open the breakdown to see which questions and assistants pull it down.
Can I download the answers?
Yes. Set the filters, then select Export CSV at the top right. See Export your data to a spreadsheet.
